Cole-Hamilton: It looks like rules don't apply to Sturgeon
Responding to Nicola Sturgeon's media appearance this afternoon, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton said:
"Nicola Sturgeon is the ghost at Humza Yousaf's feast. There is no escaping the SNP infighting, the ferries fiasco or horrendous NHS waiting times. He must be regretting calling himself the continuity candidate.
"Nicola Sturgeon knows better than anyone the precedent that exists within her party in relation to parliamentarians voluntarily suspending their membership or having the whip removed. It looks like the rules don't apply to Nicola Sturgeon.
"The nationalists have almost nothing to show for 16 years of government. It's time for a change and Scottish Liberal Democrats are determined to be part of what comes next."
