“In power too long” - Cole-Hamilton attacks lacklustre SNP campaign

Responding to John Swinney’s interview on the Sunday Show, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton said:

“This interview showed the SNP have been in power for too long and have nothing to say for those waiting for a GP or a dentist. They have nothing to say for those concerned about schools slipping down the rankings, and nothing to say about the Scottish Government-owned water company dumping sewage in our rivers.

“Instead John Swinney spent his time blaming others and not taking responsibility for public services that his party have run for 17 years.

“As voters head to the polls on Thursday, they should know that in vast swathes of Scotland, the choice is between a lacklustre and out of touch SNP campaign or a Liberal Democrat local champion who will stand up for a fair deal for your community.”
