Rennie comments on Ferguson ferry fraud probe

Responding to the conclusion of a review into the procurement of the delayed Ferguson Marine ferries, Scottish Liberal Democrat economy spokesperson Willie Rennie said:
“This investigation was never set up to clear CMAL or the SNP government of any wrongdoing, only to provide advice on whether fraud had been committed.
“The bar was set very high.
“The only way to clear up this fiasco is a public inquiry. Islanders, workers and taxpayers deserve clear answers.”
