Rennie responds to Forbes windpower development visit

Commenting as Kate Forbes visits a community windpower development today, Scottish Liberal Democrat MSP Willie Rennie said:

“The SNP sold our offshore wind rights on the cheap and have so far failed to fully exploit the jobs opportunity of wind power. 

"So much could be built in Scottish yards but companies are instead shipping it from the other side of the planet. There will be little chance of delivering the so called just transition unless the government develop a plan that works.

“Liberal Democrats say we need a new industrial strategy that exploits this massive potential for Scotland.”
