Scottish Liberal Democrats comment ahead of Our Scottish Future event

Responding to the Our Scottish Future event in Edinburgh later this evening, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP said:

“Scottish Liberal Democrats are and will always be the party of local power and reform. That means devolution to Scotland, and devolution from Holyrood down to our communities.  

“My party wants a power surge for individuals and communities through federalism, equal votes, a written constitution, reform of the House of Lords and more. Fixing our broken politics is an important part of our plans to create a Scotland that is industrious, innovative and internationalist of outlook.

“The sands of Scottish politics are shifting in big ways and Scottish Liberal Democrats will be part of what’s next.”
